Our Story
Who Are We?
JTS Family Farm is owned and operated by John and Twyla Schroeder, and their 4 daughters, Sheyan, Kyla, Amber, and Nicole. Our farm is small by today's standards but is run with love. A passion for growing and producing crops for sale and food is what drives this operation. Always striving for something new, we have had many successes and failures along the way.


Garlic Anyone?
As farmers, we always look for different crops that work with our sandy/clay soil. We have tried a variety of crops such as Ein Korn (an ancient wheat), Sunflowers, Quinoa, Flax, etc. The idea of growing garlic came from a trusted source and we decided to try it out. We learned a lot over the years. First of all, how labour-intensive it is. Then, how important weeding is. Also, living where we do, the weather can change so drastically from month to month, year to year. We raised our planting beds to prevent drowning, and have different prosses for watering and feeding a healthy garlic plant.
Vision
For us, the quality of our product is very important. We are always adapting and finding new products to make with our garlic such as sauces, pickled garlic, and powders. We also value the relationships we build with our clients and being a trusted source for all their garlic needs. We hope to continue to build a healthy client-supplier relationship.

Where to Next!
We proudly deliver to our surrounding communities, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and efficiently. Although less frequent, we also make trips to the north and south. Your satisfaction is our priority, no matter where you are located!
